La Cimbali show off their coffee machines at Gastronord Show, Stockholm
What is the Gastronord Show?
Gastro and Vinordic is Northern Europe’s largest trade fair for the hotel, restaurant, fast food and catering industries and held alternate years in the Spring. This year, it was hosted just south of Stockholm.
Held over 4 days at the beginning of May, this fantastic exhibition was buzzing with plenty of visitors, chefs, exhibitors, students and foodies from all corners of the world, all attending due to their love of food and drink! With an abundance of meetings, competitions, seminars, demonstrations, tastings and much more, 4 days was not enough time to see and experience everything.
Matt Lasek, La Cimbali’s very own professional barista, travelled from the UK to join the show, and help our Swedish distributor demonstrate our range of traditional and super automatic coffee machines.
Since joining the La Cimbali team last year, Matt has really helped fine tune La Cimbali’s focus on quality of delivery within the operational process, through training and developing customer facing staff. Matt is one of a very few to hold the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) Professional Barista qualification.
As well as Matt showing visitors the secret to making exceptional tasting coffee every time, he was also on hand to answer questions and offer practical advice on anything and everything coffee! And the Swedes truly love their coffee!
