Gruppo Cimbali unites with ASST against COVID
Binasco, 22 March 2021 – Covid vaccinations are under way this morning in MUMAC, Gruppo Cimbali’s company museum in Binasco. More than 270 people aged over 80 will be vaccinated on this first morning. The museum, founded by Gruppo Cimbali to mark its 100th anniversary, has plenty of available space and, like all museums at this time, is currently closed to the public. In the following months, it will continue to be one of the sites operated by the ASST local healthcare area of Melegnano and Martesana for the vaccine campaign, becoming a major hub for mass vaccinations.
“It is another important day for rapidly achieving widespread immunization that will allow us to live with greater peace of mind,” comments the Director General of the ASST of Melegnano and Martesana, Angelo Cordone, who thanks the owners of the company “for so quickly making this unique, fascinating place available to us, a location that not only encompasses a century of the company’s history, but is also a winning model for the revival of the local area.”
