SCA UK Barista Championship: semifinalists announced

The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) UK Barista Championship is one of the highlights of the year and as official machine sponsor for the 2022-24 season, we are delighted that the 2022 event is underway, following the inevitable delays caused by the pandemic.

The search for the UK’s most skilful barista is really hotting up. With the four initial regional heats now complete, the 14 baristas with the highest scores automatically go through to the semifinal stage of the competition. The leaderboard will return to zero as the competing baristas battle it out to claim the title and with it the opportunity to represent the UK in the World event in Melbourne in September.

“These guys are exceptional at what they do. There really is so little between them. At this stage, it really is impossible to call the winner.”
