La Cimbali are looking forward to being at this year’s HOST event in October
This Autumn’s HOST takes place from October 23-27 at Milan’s Fieramilano and is the 39th International Hospitality Exhibition. The show centres around equipment, coffee and food. Over the past 38 years this event has also established itself as an exclusive meeting place for leading manufacturers and buyers from all over the world. During the five days, this unique event has the perfect balance of enticing demonstrations, innovative products and displays, informative seminars and discussions.
Milan is already the undisputed fashion and design capital of the world, but in late October it becomes the global hub for the professional hospitality industry, with visitors exploring a layout spread out over 100,000 square metres and 14 pavilions. To make this year’s event even more special, EXPO 2015 is just a short distance away, which after six months will end on 31 October.
La Cimbali’s Coffee Specialist Rob Ward is looking forward to being back at HOST after a year’s break. Rob says, “We were last at HOST in 2013 and it was a great event with our stand constantly busy with visitors from all over the world. I particularly remember meeting lots of interesting people from faraway places such as Peru. There was a constant buzz throughout the four days, and this year the event looks to be even better and bigger than ever with 1,700 exhibitors from more than 48 countries. It’s estimated that there will be over 130,000 visitors from 62 countries – so we are really excited about the new products which we will be launching and showing off in the Coffee & Tea area. This time we will be focussing on the flexibility and wide variety of coffee machines and accessories that the La Cimbali Group have.
Other things to look out for include top experts from the coffee world discussing their latest research and findings in the ‘Coffee District’ area. Plus, the SCAE will be hosting meetings at their ‘Enjoy the table’ sessions which will bring coffee culture to the table where members of the public can interact with top baristas and experts.
