Cimbali plays host to SCA

We were delighted to host the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) UK annual ‘judges calibration’ at events@270 last weekend.

Every year all SCA judges, both experienced and new recruits, undergo rigorous testing which involves written, technical and sensory exams and the judging of multiple full UKBC performances. This two-day event is the annual ‘SCA judges calibration’.    

Ashley Dawes, SCA Judges Co-Ordinator explains:

“So pleased to see such an excellent turn out of both current and future judges, all keen to further develop their knowledge and skills in a collaborative environment which is really what the SCA is all about. 

“We had a fantastic two days at events@270 with great support from the Cimbali team who hosted the event incredibly well.

“Our attention now turns to the UKBC and BrC, with the finals just over two weeks away, the excitement amongst the coffee community is really starting to build.”
