Ringtons upgrades hot bevs across CNTW NHS Trust estate
Ringtons has helped NTW Solutions Limited a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust transform the hot beverage offer across the estate following a Beverages for Business review.
Working closely with NTW Solutions, who provide estates, facilities, car leasing, finance, workforce and procurement services to the Trust, Ringtons focused on the challenges facing the business namely fluctuations in demand, customer expectations (meeting the needs of patients, staff and visitors), dietary requirements, value for money and eco-credentials, to determine the most appropriate solution.
Cimbali award winning S Series
Ringtons specified, supplied and installed La Cimbali award-winning S30 and S20 Series fully automatic bean-to-cup coffee machines into 6 of the Trust’s on-site Cafes.
The Cimbali S Series uses fresh coffee beans and fresh milk to deliver barista-quality drinks at speed. Advanced technologies optimise the brewing process whilst delivering perfectly foamed milk to a consistent standard.
With the machines operating as ‘self-serve,’ queue times are kept to a minimum and the whole coffee experience has been elevated.
The menu has been upgraded by adding a more comprehensive range of specialty drinks and switching to Ringtons Dark Roast Coffee beans and a range of tag and envelope teas supported by POS materials. A re-usable cup scheme will also be introduced in the near future in support of the Trust’s ‘green plan.’
